Our story
Built by someone who lost their watch history too.
I am a software engineer, and I have been keeping track of what I watch for as long as I can remember. Series, films, anime, the shows nobody else I know has heard of. Ten years of it. Every episode I finished at 2am, every film I rewatched too many times, every season I abandoned halfway and quietly went back to.
Then TV Time shut down, and all of it was gone. Not just a list — a record of a decade of my life, the kind of thing you do not realise you care about until the moment you cannot open it any more. I kept reaching for an app that was not there.
I was angry for about a week. Then I started building.
Seentopia is the tracker I wanted back, made by someone who used the old one every single day and knew exactly what it got wrong. It is fast, because waiting on a spinner to tick off an episode is absurd. It never loses your place in a series. Your data is yours: bring it in from anywhere, take it out whenever you like, in a format you can actually read. No ads sold against the shows you love. No feed deciding what you should have watched instead.
And the part I care about most: your history is not hostage to whether this app survives. Export everything, any time, no questions. I have been on the other side of that door, and I am not doing it to anyone else.
